Tiny CrystalsI took this photo on one of the last days that snow still covered the ground where I live. This week's challenge was difficult because there was only snow for a few days, but I still managed to take all the photos I needed. I took this picture outside my school in the morning. The ice was beginning to melt on the leaf but it was still very cold. I named this picture 'tiny crystals' because of the little crystals of snow visible on the edge of the leaf. I like how the colour of the bright leaf contrasts with the dark and dull background, I also like how just the leaf, the subject of the photo, is the only part in focus. I think it is obvious that I needed to use flash in the photo, and I don't really like how bright it is. I think this photo fit in well with the 'Jack Frost' challenge because you can see the little bits of snow and ice that had fallen onto, or formed in the leaf.
